Experience, Compassion and Respect for Your Choices
ABOUT ME
Welcome. I'm Ginnie Seaman, LCPC, CADC, GCE, founder of Many Pathways Counseling. For more than 35 years, I have worked with adults facing mental health concerns, addiction, trauma, grief, and many of life's other challenges.
I began my career working with people living with severe mental illness. That experience taught me an important lesson that has stayed with me throughout my career: meaningful change often happens one small step at a time. I learned to notice and celebrate those small steps.
Later, I moved into addiction treatment and directed a program for mothers struggling with substance use disorders. Working with those women and their families deepened my understanding of trauma, domestic violence, resilience, and hope.
These are some of the experiences that shaped me most as a therapist, but my career has also included many years of individual counseling and supervising a variety of mental health and addiction programs. Along the way, I have had the opportunity to teach, mentor, and learn from other professionals as well as from my clients.
In 2021, I opened Many Pathways Counseling, bringing together what I had learned throughout my career. I continue to see my role as a teacher and guide—offering knowledge, support, and perspective while respecting your right to make the choices that are best for your life.
